Trout in detail...

Hello! This is just an example of the detail that is in our fish blanks, all the scales & muscle detail you see in the fish is in the blank. we emphasize the depth by hand scale tipping with silver and black-washing/antiquing before we paint. It gives the fish a degree of realism that makes you think it just came out of the water!

Taking it to the Next Level...

Beautiful work done by Garza Taxidermy in corpus christi TX. Scene depicting 3 peacock bass with 11 small piranah, 3 large piranah, and 1 crawfish. Besides having so many fish on one piece, it also features artificial water with splashing effects reacting to the scene. Its another masterpiece out of the south texas studio. Hope you enjoy, please comment!!!!

Getting work done! Here is the Peacock bass scene so far, we're almost ready to unveil the final product. The small Marlin now has a picture on the website, so check it out (http://www.garzataxidermy.com/pictures/catalog/blue%20marlin/BLM1%20full.jpg) and let us know what you think! The fishing was great yesterday, Dan was able to pull in an amberjack that beat his personal best (spearfishing), While i was fighting off motion sickness on the boat. The day was great, i ended up feeling fine about half way through the trip (and a couple of sandwiches later)! Thank you everyone involved.
